I found John Aldridge's article (In London, August) about only half the bus stops in London being fully accessible disconcerting for two reasons.rnFirst, why was it left to a body that represents the views of passengers to come up with these startling revelations? Why do we never hear from the professionals at Transport for London and London Buses about these problems and what they intend to do about them? Could it be that the good members of London TravelWatch actually spend time travelling on buses and see these problems for themselves?
