Plaque unveiled in thanks for RT1 appeal success

London Bus Preservation Trust chairman Peter Duplock (right) unveiled a plaque on 27 June to mark the successful conclusion to the ￡150,000 campaign to keep 1939 prototype London Transport double-decker RT1 in its permanent collection. The plaque will eventually be placed in the new Cobham Bus Museum when it opens within the Brooklands Museum site.
