With a lot of help from Buses readers, Cobham Bus Museum has saved ground breaking London Transport prototype double-decker RT1.rnJust one year after it launched its ￡150,000 appeal to keep the 1939 double-decker in Britain, it revealed at its Spring Gathering on 11 April that it has raised the full sum required and the bus has become a permanent part of the museum's collection.
