As he drew closer, the roof profile of one of them took on a familiar appearance, so he slowed to a halt, excused himself to hisrnpassengers and found former MacBrayne's 150 (LUS 524E), which he had once conducted and then driven. It turned out that it belonged to the late Brian Boyle, who wanted to retire from preservation, and that it was for sale.
