If it succeeds, and assume that the other major operators will be part of the same revolution, it will remove one of the biggest bugbears that has blighted UK bus operation since one-person operation began to become widespread in the late 1960s.rnFor drivers, it would take away one of the biggest threats to their personal safety and the frustration of waiting while passengers fumble for the correct fare. Passengers would benefit from faster boarding times and potentially more attractively priced fares. Operators would be at reduced risk of falling prey to counterfeit coins and notes and also stand to get theirrnfares revenue into their bank accounts several hours quicker than depositing it overnight.
