Aston Manor Road Transport Museum held its last event - a well attended all-makes running day - on 16 October before preparing to vacate its inner city premises in a former tram depot in Birmingham. The remaining museum collection is going into store pending a decision on its long-term future. Preserved vehicles offering rides on this unhappy occasion included Midland Fox 343 (CJW 43N), a 1974 Marshall-bodied Leyland Leopard PSU3B/2R new to Midland Red, and West Bromwich Corporation 156 (FEA 156), a 1952 Daimler CVC5 with rear-entrance Metro-Cammell body.
