There have been radical changes at Temsa since the Turkish manufacturer exhibited at Kortrijkin2009. Each show, it marked its growth with a bigger stand to accommodate an ever more diverse bus and coach range, then in 2009 seemed more preoccupied with its new corporate logo than the hardware on show. A new chief executive officer joined from Toyota Turkey last year and the emphasis now is on rationalising the range and earning what he hopes will be a 'humble' profit. The new approach is typified by the MD9, launched at Hannover last year as a midicoach and due to become available in the UK next year. Temsa describes it as a large coach in the body of a small one, offering large vehicle comfort and ride quality but the lighter weight and lower operating costs of a smaller one.
