Cash fares rise to £2.30 in 2012

Cash fares on London buses and trams rise from £2.20 to £2.30 on 2 January and OysterCard pay-as-you-go fares from £1.30 to £1.40. Weekly bus passes increase from £1 7.80 to £19.10. Travelcard increases are greater because of the new higher formula for calculating National Rail fares: an all-zone weekly Travelcard will cost £54.40.
