Last post for more Royal Mail routes

Royal Mail Postbus routes will be down from a peak of over 200 to single figures by the New Year, and at least one of the two remaining British rural mainland routes has a definite closure date in 2012. Two of the three remaining English routes, Peatling Parva-Lutterworth in Leicestershire and Northallerton-Hawes in North Yorkshire, ran for the last time on 28 October. The Malton-Foxholes route, also in North Yorkshire, ends next spring when the current contract ends.
