Enviro500 gets Enviro400 front for US show

Alexander Dennis will have feet - and wheels - on both sides of the Atlantic in the week of Coach & Bus Live, as it also is using the three-yearly APTA show in the United States to launch a revamped version of its tri-axle Enviro500 double-decker. The show, in New Orleans on 3-5 October, will see it replace the styling first developed for Honq Kong and supplied to First Glasgow and Dublin Bus as well as an increasing North American customer base with the front-end design of the two-axle Enviro400 double-decker, which it is also showing in open-top form. All three options in its California-assembled line-up - transit, commuter and open-top - will go over to the new look over the next 18 months, including vehicles that will form part of significant new transit orders likely to be announced in New Orleans.
