Arriva inspector insisted that photograph be deleted

Unlike G. J. Ledger (You Write last month), I entered the Arriva bus photography competition. The chance to win some photo equipment, or at least some vouchers, was an opportunity not to be missed. However, I do appreciate the concerns he raises. The model release form (which is specifically for this competition) states that 'Arriva UK is committed to the protection of privacy of children and adults involved in its events'. It advises that it may send information, including photographs from the competition, to the news media, including local press, as well as using consented images on its website; such images being viewable worldwide.
