Bus Vannin changes 'proved inpopular'

John young(rublicity matters, December) may be unaware of the considerable adverse public reaction to the Bus Vannin bus network in the Isle of Man following the changes introduced in September. The press has had a field day. There is much more to it than the travelling public not liking change. For a start, the glossy timetable is riddled with confusing errors. For example: The service I use to work each day is shown as not operating on schooldays. It does, but it took me several days to find this out and there are still some people who catch the same service at about the same time from the other side of the road in the opposite direction and ride the 'Onchan loop' before passing their original stop on their way to town.
