Quite a lot of people know Barcelona has a long-in-build cathedral, Sagrada Familia. Not so many know New York has one too. The cathedral of St John the Divine was started in 1892. Delays, problems, a fire, mean that it is scheduled for completion in 2050, 24 years after the Barcelona one, and it is already the largest cathedral in the world.
