Magic Bus goes in Liverpool co-ordination deal

The latest co-ordination agreement brokered under the terms of the 2008 Local Transport Act has ended head-to-head competition between Arriva and Stagecoach on a key corridor in Liverpool. From 9 January, the operators introduced a new combined timetable on routes 14, 14A, 14B, 14C and 14X between Liverpool, Croxteth and Kirkby. The quality partnership agreement ends competition on the Croxteth-Liverpool section, with services now run every 3min on Monday to Saturday daytimes, every 7 to 8min on Sunday daytimes and every 15min in the evening.
