Ninety-one AEC Regent Ills were delivered to Glasgow Corporation; Weymann-bodied A166-256 (FYS 349-439) were almost identical to earlier Metro-Cammell-built deliveries, and the last 18 had heaters fitted when new. There also were 35 Daimlers, Alexander-bodied CVD6 double-deckers D37-59 (FYS 465-87); Alexander-bodied D60 (FYS 488), the first CD650 for a municipal, with power steering, 10.6litre Daimler engine and wide radiator; D66 (FYS 494), a 7ft 6in wide CVD6 with 8ft wide Norwich-built Mann Egerton body; and DS21-30 (FYS 326-35), CVD6 single-deckers with 33-seat dual-door bodies built in-house at Larkfield Bus Works. D60 and D66 were Glasgow's first 8ft wide motorbuses; D66 had a platform handrail that warned the driver, by means of an illuminated sign in the cab, of passengers remaining on the rear platform.
