My partner Val and I spent a few days on the Isle of Wight in early October when we found all of the driving staff on Southern Vectis and one Wight Bus were friendly.We did a trip to The Needles and back to Alum Bay and were told by the driver that the number 7 was 20min late. This information came without being asked. It saved us wondering what had happened to the bus. Also full marks for the temporary bus stops at Godshill with full information on them.Our time on the island was bliss owing to the ease of using the buses and the trains and the 48hr rover tickets are great value. Full marks all round.
