Ayres red memories of a Scottish Kingdom

Walter Burt is a bus driver and preservationist who has put together this photographic tribute to the buses of the Kingdom of Fife from just before the creation of Alexander (Fife) in 1961 to present day operation by its privatised successor, the Fife portion of Stagecoach East Scotland. Most of the photographs are in colour, showing the transition from Alexander's blue and cream to the Fife c company's Ayres red and cream, its various iterations in the latter years of Scottish Bus Group ownership and on to the stripes and swoops of Stagecoach.
