Sandtoft Trolleybus Museum marked the 50th anniversary of the end of the London Transport trolleybus system with an event over the August bank holiday weekend when it relaunched all-Leyland LT 1348 (EXV 348).rnThe 1939 six-wheel 70-seater K2-class double-decker is on long-term loan from the Transport Museum Society of Ireland and has undergone a two-year restoration at Sandtoft.rnHere it passes 1 936 C2-class AEC 260 (CUL 260), with Metro-Cammell body, on loan from the East Anglia Transport Museum, as they operate under the overhead loop at the museum.
