Scottish Co-operative Wholesale Society-owned Skye Transport took delivery of its last new bus in October. Having had a series of Albion AZ9Ns after World War 2 with SCWS-built bodies, KGE 541 was an Albion FT3, but of the shorter wheelbase AL (lorry) version rather than the more common AB (bus) type.
