Brighton & Hove fights to maintain rail intecrration

The previously harmonious relationship between Go-Ahead Group's Brighton & Hove subsidiary and the city council has been unsettled by council plans to pedestrianise parts of the area in front of Brighton railway station. The Green Party-controlled council is consulting on three options, two of which company says would significantly reduce the number of its buses serving the station. Managing director Roger French says up to six routes, some of them peak hour journeys, could be affected.
