China Youngman Automobile Group is moving into European bus and coach manufacturing with a majority shareholding in Viseon Bus, the German manufacturer established four years ago to take over Neoplan's Pilsting, Lower Bavaria factory from MAN. Viseon began by manufacturing trolleybuses and airport apron buses for Neoplan, but has since expanded to develop its own range of left-hand-drive coaches and low-floor double-deck bus. Founders Joachim Reinmuth and Erno Bartha remain shareholders, but Youngman has pledged to increase the capital to fund further expansion.
