Contravision phenomenally better in Singapore than parts of UK

It seems I was wrong about the banning of contravision in Singapore (Service Extra December in relation to Ljubljana). What has happened is that the amount of it has been restricted to around 20% of the glazed area of any bus (the exact figure is quoted differently in different places). This is much better than the situation pertaining on my previous visit in 2001 and on some buses in the UK today, with whole buses covered - including, incredibly, some of one big group advertising its commitment to bus travel as 'the future' And there are fewer buses in Singapore with such advertising than 1 0 years ago.
