M-type surfaces in Cheshire

A rare former Scottish Bus Group Alexander M-type motorway coach, former Western SMT Bristol REMH6G T2218 (NAG 124G) has appeared in a yard in Macclesfield after spending many years as a caravan. It was new in 1969 and among the first 12m coaches operated in the UK. Influenced by North American practice, the M-type was designed for SBG's overnight services linking Glasgow and Edinburgh with London.
