Arriva Scotland West rebrands and revises service network

Arriva Scotland West introduced a new-look bus network on 7 November. Changes include expansion of the Citiconnexion and Townlynx brands; providing fully refurbished, route-branded vehicles on some routes; increased frequencies on some services including Johnstone locals and the Paisley/ Clydebank link over the Erskine Bridge; new links to Phoenix Retail Park at Linwood, Glasgow's Byres Road and University; new weekend night bus services on the main Glasgow-Johnstone and Glasgow-Erskine corridors; and 45 newer buses to achieve a fully low-floor network. Each route has been given a unique identity linked to a local landmark. Examples are the Clyde Auditorium (Armadillo Building) for services 7/1 7 (Glasgow-Linwood/Spateston via the Clyde Tunnel), Clydebank's Titan Crane for service 23/X23 (Glasgow-Erskine) and the Clyde Arc Bridge for service 26 (Glasgow-Nethercraiqs).
