VISIONS OF BUS DESIGN IN THE 2020s

MAN and Turkish manufacturer Anadolu Isuzu both complemented their large displays of current products with students' visions of how the design of urban buses could evolve for changing needs. MAN - which also announced that it in future it will only supply engines to manufacturers with whom it does not compete directly - commissioned the Weissensee Academy of Art in Berlin to survey the wants of 15 cities around the world and produce concept designs of the sorts of buses that would meet those expectations.
