OBITUARY Bruce Maund, 1924-2013

As reported briefly last month, prolific transport author and former bus company manager Bruce Maund, died on 1 October, aged 89. Thomas Bruce Maund was born in Wallasey on 10 August 1924 and was almost certainly the last person alive with clear memories of the operation of Wallasey trams, which ceased running on 30 November 1933.
