Celebrating a major capital landmark

Many pictorial albums are - to me - unsatisfying because they consist of little more than photographs with captions and too little information to tell a story. No such accusations can be levied at this album produced by Arriva London to mark the centenary of just one of London's bus garages - Tottenham. Nearly 100 photos - many in colour -cover both the vehicles and routes that have featured there since 1913. Two of them were in at the start and are as recognisable now as then: the 73 (now Victoria-Stoke Newington) and 76 (now Waterloo-Tottenham).
