A feast of municipals, mixed independents and big groups

This latest in Capital Transport's The Colours of series varies the format a little to suit the subject matter, for unlike some of the other conurbations covered this is one in which company buses - notably independents -played a major part alongside the municipals. Rather than starting with the municipals in descending order of size, with companies squeezed into whatever space remains at the end, this takes an alphabetical course from Bradford to Yorkshire Woollen, sweeping up the larger independents along the way, before grouping the 10 smaller independents at the end. Informative captions complement potted histories introducing each section.
