Yellow schoolbuses clean up awards

Yellow schoolbuses in two PTE areas have secured one third of the government's £5million of Clean Bus Technology Fund money awarded to reduce the emissions of buses across England. The successful bids from West Yorkshire PTE Metro and Transport for Greater Manchester will clean up the exhausts of 149 yellow schoolbuses - 38% of the 392 buses for which funds have been allocated - used mainly for home-to-school transport.
