Retired banker Harry Barker (62) has been succeeded Bus Users UK deputy chief executive and former Buses editor Stephen Morris as chairman of the Omnibus Society. He has been on the society's council for 25 years as treasurer and is succeeded in that role by chartered accountant Robert Williams, who also chairs the OS Scottish branch. Geoff Lusher, chairman of Parry People Movers, and bus industry entrepreneur Julian Peddle have also been elected as directors and trustees.
