Second relaunch takes Sapphire to Leicester

Arriva has converted a second route to its Sapphire brand, with refurbished lower capacity double-deckers taking over its 31/31A route between Oadby and Leicester from 29 June. Ten Wright-bodied Volvo B7TLs, new seven years ago, have been refurbished by Thornton Brothers with leather seating which - as on the pilot route in North Wales (Buses June) - is in a 2 + 1 layout upstairs to provide increased personal space and privacy. They also have such features as free WiFi and power points.
