Swiss gain more ground in France

PostAuto Schweiz, which operates the yellow postbuses in Switzerland, has won another set of routes in France. Success has boosted the number of French city networks it runs to seven. Its French subsidiary, CarPostal, took the franchise for the town of Menton on the Riviera close to the Franco-Italian border from Veolia Transdev (now Transdev). The contract includes 1 2 local bus routes, a dial-a-bus service and school work. The Swiss plan to deploy 80 staff and 34 new buses on the network. Another 1 2 buses will be leased from local operators.
