I was fascinated by the article on Coaches Excetera in Surrey (Buses last month), in particular where you report that operating a quality service with clean vehicles, a regular timetable and friendly drivers has turned round a route neglected by no fewer than five previous operators into a highly-regarded service with increasing patronage. For me, the whole article is underlined by the sentence '...backed up by administrative detail, ensuring that services run as registered and advertised'.
