Depot relocated, Greyfriars 'dungeon' to go by Tanuary

Stagecoach Midlands moved to a new Northampton depot on the weekend of 23/24 March, as part of a plan for a new bus station due to open in the town next January. The new depot is in Main Road, Far Cotton, close to the former United Counties head office and engineering facilities in Rothersthorpe Avenue, which have now closed. It has covered maintenance facilities and open air parking for around 1 20 buses, allowing for expansion beyond the current allocation of 93.
