Stagecoach entered springtime celebrating its heritage with some current and preserved buses painted in traditional colours. Anniversaries prompting this include the 110th of the start of motorbus operations in Eastbourne, Britain's first municipal all-motorbus undertaking. One of the vehicles Stagecoach acquired with council-owned Eastbourne Buses in 2008, a Wright Cadet-bodied DAF SB1 20, has been painted in the blue, yellow and cream livery Eastbourne Corporation retained until the late 1960s. This matches two preserved Eastbourne buses in the Stagecoach heritage fleet, a 1 950 AEC Regal III and a newly restored 1967 Leyland Titan PD2A/30, both with East Lancs bodies.
