PAX 466F, the last lowbridge side sunken gangway double-decker built in Britain, was honoured by an official mayoral launch on 2 March, ready for its appearance at the Cardiff Bus Preservation Group's Welsh municipals running day at Barry on 5 May. The Massey-bodied Leyland Titan PD3/4 (Preservation Update last month) is owned by bus entrepreneur Julian Peddle, who arranged for the CBPG to take care of it and restore it to the Oxford blue and royal ivory livery of its original owner, Bedwas & Machen Urban District Council, which bought it in 1968.
