Probably one of the first things we look at in Buses is Fleet News to find out who is buying what. But are they actually buying the vehicles? In days gone by, operators had their own regular work, all of which would be termed commercial nowadays. They also had a fairly regular pattern of vehicle acquisitions, with some operators buying new for the best jobs and relegating it over its lifetime until it only came out for school specials.
