Liberty Bus succeeds Connex Jersey

It may not have been as dramatic as the day in September 1 967 when Swedish bus passengers and motorists alike awoke to find their transport system -had switched from left to right overnight, but 2 January marked a significant change at Jersey's bus stops.rnGone were the familiar light blue Dennis Dart SLFs, which for a decade had plied the narrow island roads bearing the Connex Mybus label, to be replaced by a sparkling new selection of Optare Solo SR midibuses, Bluebird-bodied Fiat Ducato minibuses and Alexander Dennis Enviro400 double-deckers, all freshly decked out in CT Plus's Liberty Bus livery, depicting multi-coloured yacht sails on a white background and an over-window strapline of Island parishes in Jersey-French.
