New Sunsundegui body shown on B11R

Volvo previewed a right-hand-drive version of the new SC7 body from Spanish coachbuilder Sunsundegui on a two-axle 13m B11R. Although of similar outline to the Sideral body launched in the UK in 2001 on Volvo chassis, the SC7 is promoted as a refined premium product. To reduce fuel consumption, the body itself and the fairing of the air conditioning unit are shaped to reduce wind resistance. Swing-out light units and a large one-piece engine cover are designed for ease of maintenance.
