Weymouth has had more new buses over past 10 years

Congratulations on the picture of First Hampshire & Dorset Wright StreetLite 47410 (Pictureview September), which was taken on part of the impressive Weymouth relief road opened as part of the infrastructure improvements made possible in advance of, the 2012 Olympic sailing events in the area. However, I must correct some of the information given in the caption. These were not the first new buses allocated to the depot for 14 years, as five Scania/East Lanes OmniDekkas(and a since departed Scania/ Wright single-decker) arrived in 2004 for service X53 CExeter-Weymouth-Poole). These were joined by a further OmniDekka in 2005, all replaced on this service in 2008 by seven new Volvo B9TL/Wright Eclipse Gemini.
