The sights and sounds of central London

Spurred into action by the then impending withdrawal of heritage Routemasters from part of London route 9, Mark Ellis spent one day last June filming buses in action mainly in central London, but also at Hampstead Heath terminus. Heritage Routemasters may have been the catalyst for this production, but it is about everything he could film in service. There are a lot more New Routemasters - gliding quietly through heavy traffic - than the traditional variety, as well as much else that is new and not so new.
