WHOTT reveals Exeter Maudslay

The latest restoration by the West Country Historic Omnibus & Transport Trust (WHOTT) - a 1929 Exeter Corporation Maudslay owned by UK bus entrepreneur David Leeder - was the focus of much attention when it gave several rides at the trust's annual gathering at Westpoint showground on 21 September. WHOTT chairman Robert Crawley led and Leeder financed the two-and-a-half year restoration project on the Northern Counties-bodied ML3B single-decker, believed to be the oldest surviving product of the Wigan coachbuilder.
