This delightfully packed picture album is part of the Roadscene Collection produced in association with our sister magazine Vintage Roadscene and compiled by its editor, Mike Forbes. The series kicked off with a well-received title on ERF trucks and this is the first of what deserves to be many on buses and coaches. The pictures come from the Stilltime collection owned by Chris Hodge Commercials, black and whites taken originally by staff photographers on the weekly Commercial Motor magazine, which covered passenger transport until the early 1990s as well as its core subject of road haulage. Because they were professionals, these photographers took great pride in their work, which is reproduced here to an equally high standard.
