Unvi-bodied Volvo is 'next best thing' to New Routemaster

Volvo has broadened its double-deck body options for the UK and Ireland by adding a right-hand-drive version of the twin-staircase Spanish-built Unvi 25 open-top body on the Euro5 B9TL chassis. The first two are going to the Bath Bus Company - part of French-owned RATP Dev - to meet its need for vehicles in its City Sightseeing fleet that can disembark and board passengers in its home city as quickly as possible. They are similar to left-hand-drive B9TL/Unvi 25 open-toppers in Belgium, Greece, Italy, Netherlands, Spain and Russia.
