In 1955, Western SMT purchased its first 20 Bristol Lodekkas with the early production longer radiator grille. All were put to work from Greenock garage on local services and B-T Models depicts two on its second offering of the LD in a Scottish livery. There are two versions, model B107A showing first of batch GB1151 (GCS 237) with destination of Woodhall and B107B showing GB1158 {GCS 244) heading to Dellingburn. B-T provides complete resin models for those of us with less dexterity or patience to assemble kits and paint them. The results are very pleasing on this model, which has been on many collectors' wish list for years. It captures the essence of the Eastern Coach Works body far more effectively than the Corgi OOC version on the later Lodekka FS. The use of resin has enabled it to get the shape scale of the slim upper deck front pillars correct, as well as drivers' mirrors in correct scale.
