New head of safety for First Bus

Angus Glasby joined First Bus on 1 September as the group's new head of safety. He is based in Doncaster, joins from supermarket chain Morrisons and is responsible for driving improvements in safety performance across First Bus's operations. He reports to Neil Barker, regional managing director for Wales & South of England, who says: 'He brings with him an impressive track record and will bring fresh perspective on how we can continue to improve our safety performance.' He succeeds Sarah Claypole, who has joined FirstGroup's Tram Operations company in Croydon, south London.
