Capital Transport's repute is very much 'top table' when it comes to its definitive type histories of the great buses that have served London. This is the second edition of its story of the LT-class New Routemaster and rather akin to the bus itself, it has matured into a much larger volume, comprehensively brought up to date and interestingly so. The tenor of the work has changed subtly, making it perhaps less contentious than were parts of the original, but introducing new material. The Right Bus for London section, which raised some comparisons with other types and some quite valid questions, has been removed.
