Daimler Buses boosts profit for 2014

Daimler Buses boosted profits in 2014 but division head Hartmut Schick warns of difficult trading conditions and shrinking markets. Earnings before interest rose sharply by nearly 60% to €197million (£143million) compared to €124million (£90.6million) in 2013. Sales and turnover were buoyed by orders for complete buses in Western Europe. Overall revenue went up by 3% to €4.2billion (£3billion).
