D&G expands again as Arriva quits Potteries

Arriva Midlands is selling Wardle Transport, its offshoot in the North Staffordshire Potteries towns, to D&G Bus, which takes over on 9 May. The deal, announced within weeks of D&G selling its South Lancs Travel business to Rotala (Buses last month), includes operations that Crewe-based D&G sold to Arriva in August 2011. Nineteen buses -13 short wheelbase Dennis Dart SLFs and three DAF DB250 double-deckers - are included in the deal.
