The last Isle of Man AEC bus in regular service, former Douglas Corporation No.1 (8122 MN) survived last August as a London-themed static cafe in the Greek capital Athens, where Daniel Stazicker photographed it. The Regent V, new in 1964 with 64-seat Metro-Cammell body, became Isle of Man Transport 122 when it acquired the Douglas operation in 1976 and survived until October 1982. Four years later, it was a mobile restaurant in Surrey and there was an earlier sighting of it in Athens in 2011.
